Teams will receive a racer communication 7 - 10 days prior to the race with any last minute updates or instructions.  If a question is not addressed in our FAQs and the answer will impact your packing list, feel free to ask.  However, I won't disclose any more information about the course than is already provided on this web site until the racer communication and/or pre-race briefing on Friday.  That way, I'm sure everyone has the same information at the same time.  Fair and square.

Directions to Sandhill 4-H Camp  

Check-in for the SXT South will be at the Sandhill 4-H Camp, Hwy 700E, Whitley City, Kentucky.  From US-27 in Whitley City, turn east onto Hwy 700E and travel for 4.5 miles to the camp.

  

Directions to Cave Run Lake

Check-in for the Sheltowee Extreme II will be at Stoney Cove Recreation Area, which is off Hwy 826 at the northwest corner of Cave Run Lake, immediately south of the dam.  The star on the map below represents the intersection of Hwy 826 and Hwy 801, which is the main road from I-64 to Cave Run Lake Recreation Area.  You would turn south from Hwy 801 onto Hwy 826 and cross over the dam to get to Stoney Cove.  The bulk of the Sheltowee Extreme will take place in the Cave Run Lake Recreation Area.
